By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 14: Armed Police Force Women registered a 111-run victory over Karnali Province Women in the Prime Minister Cup Women's National Cricket Tournament at Fapla Cricket Ground, Dhangadi on Tuesday.
Batting first APF Women scored 182 runs in the loss of a wicket in the stipulated 20 overs with the help of not-out half-centuries of Mamta Chaudhary and Indu Barma.
Chaudhary hit 78 runs whereas Barma hit 52 runs. Similarly, Rajmati Airee scored 22 runs.
In response, Karnali Women scored just 71 runs in 20 overs in loss of 7 wickets.
To restrict Karnali from achieving the 183-run target APF's Karuna Bhandari alone took 3 wickets, whereas Rekha Rawal, Suman Bist and Binu Budha took single wickets each.
Karnali's Dikshya Puri hit 17 runs and Rama Budhathoki and Gauri Bohara scored 10 runs each.
Other batsmen weren't able to score in double digits.
