Property worth Rs 3.5 million gutted in fire
By Hari Koirala, Urlabari, Jan.2: A fire broke out in Miklajung Rural Municipality on Thursday morning.
Property worth about Rs 3.5 million was destroyed by the fire.
According to ward chair-4 of Miklajung Rural MunicipalityBishal Rai, a fire broke out in the house and kitchen of local Dinesh Tamang at around 9:30 in the morning.
A fire broke out in the kitchen while cooking thereby causing damage to the house along with grain, clothes, cash, and two tola of gold and silver.
Ward chair Rai said that the fire was doused after about two hours with the help of residents and security personnel.
