Three party leaders and former PMs extend Tamu Lhosar best wishes

Kathmandu, Dec 30: Former Prime Ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and Madhav Kumar Nepal have extended best wishes to all Nepali sisters and brothers at home and abroad on the occasion of the Tamu Lhosar festival.    


In a message of best wishes, Deuba, also the Nepali Congress (NC) President has stated that the festival has inspired all to contribute to the conservation of respective religion, culture, customs and traditions, strengthening the mutual goodwill, tolerance and bonding in the Nepali society.    


Similarly, in a separate message, Dahal, also the Chair of CPN (Maoist Centre), has said that it is the responsibility of the State to protect and promote all existing languages, cultures, attires and customs in the country.    


He also took time to stress that advancing towards the effective implementation of the constitution, strengthening of national unity, good governance, social justice and economic progress is the need of the hour.    


Likewise, former PM Nepal also serving as the Chair of CPN (Unified Socialist) has said in his message of best wishes today that the cultural diversities are a means of enhancing the pride of Nepal internationally.


Diverse cultures and traditions in Nepal have contributed to promoting social harmony, tolerance, goodwill and national unity, he said, stressing the need of promoting cultural festivals of Nepal. (RSS)
