Former Vice President insists on impartial journalism
Kathmandu, Dec 20: Former Vice President Parmananda Jha has highlighted the role of independent journalism to build a democratic society.
He stressed the need to practice and promote impartial journalism.
In his address to a media programme organised here on Friday, the former Vice President said it was the responsibility of journalism to institutionalize democratic culture by safeguarding people's freedom.
Media should not fail from proving its role as a watchdog for promoting good governance and ending impunity. (RSS)
