By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 17: Lubna Chand won the Kids and Talent Award amid a grand finale held at Rastriya Nachghar on Sunday evening.
Purnima Timalsina and Bipika Rai secured the positions of first and second runners-up, respectively in the talent show organised by Glory Media.
Along with the title, winner Chand also bagged awards for Most Charming, Best Personality and Best Public Speaker.
Similarly, first runner-up Timalsina won the titles of Most Talented and Most Intelligent, while second runner-up Rai received the Public and Popularity Award.
In other categories, Supriya Sundas was named Organiser’s Choice, while Abina Aryal won the titles of Most Popular Choice and Best Smile.
The winners were awarded cash prizes of Rs. 25,000, Rs. 15,000, and Rs. 10,000 respectively, along with attractive gift hampers.
Furthermore, the finalists were granted a special opportunity to showcase their talents on Sachetana, a programme aired on NTV News.
The competition featured a panel of judges, including international model Dipak Ghimire, renowned rock and modern singer-songwriter and composer Binod Dhakal, Nepal Chamber of Commerce director and Rotary Club of Gyaneshwar secretary Shristi Tripathi, event organiser Ravi Lama Tamang, and model-choreographer Ashwini Koirala.
The event was choreographed by international choreographer Rosin Shakya, with Pratap Bhatt as coordinator, Somraj Bastola as event director, and Shailesh Nepali as manager. Chief guest Urmila Shrestha, vice president of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and CEO of Salt Trading Corporation Limited, said that such events help uncover children’s talents while contributing to making them confident and responsible citizens.
Speaking at the programme Saroj Ojha, chairman and managing director of Glory Media, expressed his belief that such competitions honoured young talent, create a positive impact on society, and inspired the preparation of a more talented generation in the future.
