NPL: Sudur Paschim beats Pokhara in last-over thriller match

TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 15: Sudur Paschim Royals defeated Pokhara Avengers by 5 runs in a sensational match's last over of the 27th Match of Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Sunday.

Following a target of 154 runs posted by Sudur Paschim, Pokhara became all out in 19.4 overs making 148 runs. 

With the in Sudur Paschim climbed up to the first position in the point table with 10 points.  

To restrict Pokhara from achieving target Sudur Paschim's Scott Kuggeleijn took 5 wickets alone giving 18 runs in a 3.4 overs spell. Similarly, Harmeet Singh took three wickets alone. Saif Zaib took a wicket. 

Before being all out Pokhara's batsmen Andries Gous scored 36 runs, Raymon Reifer 33, Kiran Thagunna 32, Dinesh Kharel 15, Zen Malik 10,  Harmeet Singh 5 and Dilip Nath scored 1 run. 

Earlier, in the first inning, Pokhara posted a target of 154 runs target for the Sudur Paschim.
