Kathmandu, Dec 15: Currently, there is influence of westerly wind throughout the country and the weather across the country is partly cloudy, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Some places of Tarai region are
witnessing thick fog. The weather would remain mainly fair throughout the
country in the afternoon and night.
Thick fog has been forecast at many
places in Tarai and Valley on Monday morning and the Department has requested
all bodies concerned to adopt precaution as it would affect daily life,
transport service and flights for few hours.
Meanwhile, Kathmandu Valley folks
are experiencing a relatively warm weather today as compared to Saturday. On
Saturday, the temperature was 2 degree Celsius, recording the coldest day in
the Valley so far of this year.
This morning, the temperature has
been recorded at 4.5 degree Celsius. Today's maximum temperature of the
Kathmandu Valley would remain between 16 and 18 degree Celsius, according to
