Kathmandu, Dec.14: The Kathmandu Valley has experienced has felt the coldest of this year today.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu has dropped to 2 degrees Celsius today.
Earlier yesterday, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was 3.1 degrees.
According to the temperature report released by the division at 8:45 AM today, the minimum temperature nationwide is in Jumla minus 7.2 degrees Celsius.
Westerly winds are currently influencing the country, but the weather is generally clear across it.
The department informed that some places in the Terai are covered with fog.
It is said in the bulletin released this morning that the weather will be mainly fair throughout the country. And, there will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi Province and mainly fair in the rest of the country in the afternoon of Saturday.
