By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 12: Janakpur Bolts defeated Kathmandu Gurkhas by 5 wickets in the 21st Match of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Thursday at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
Janakpur achieved the target of 102 runs posted by Kathmandu in 15.5 overs with a loss of 5 wickets making 104 runs.
With the win, Janakpur reached the NPL playoffs remaining one match collecting 10 points in 6 matches.
janakpur's James Neesham scored 27 runs, Harsh Thaker 25, Lahiru Milantha 16, Mohammad Mohsin 13, Anil Sah 11, Shubh Kansakar 5 runs and Aasif Sheikh scored two runs.
Kathmandu's bowler Karan KC took two wickets, and Shahab Alam, Gerhard Erasmus and Dipesh Kandel took a single wicket each.
Earlier, Kathmandu Bolts scored 101 runs before being all out in the first inning.
