Home Minister assures initiative to include Gadhimai Temple in World Heritage Site

Bara, Dec 4: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has said the government would take an initiative to include the Gadhimai Temple of Bara district in the World Heritage Site.     

The temple located at Bariyarpur in the district would help Nepal make known to the world. The government is committed to conserving the Gadhimai Temple, Minister Lekhak added.     

He also vowed seamless management of security in the wake of the Gadhmai fair, for which he directed the Chief District Officer. Mobilizaton of additional security forces was imperative, he reminded.     

The Home Minister also held a discussion with Chief District Officers and security chiefs so that proper security would be in place for the Gadhimai fair.     

Minister Lekhak urged the members of the Gadhimai fair organizing committee to install CCTVs at Gadhimai to ease public for worshipping.(RSS)
