Biratnagar defeats Lumbini by two wickets in NPL

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 4: Biratnagar Kings registered its first win in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL)  defeating Lumbini Lions on Wednesday at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

Batting first Lumbini posted a target of 192 runs which Biratnagar achieved in 19.5 overs by making 193 runs with a loss of 8 wickets.

To make a sensational win over Lumbini Lokesh Bam hit a half-century and scored 71 runs. 

Similarly, Basir Ahamad scored 40 runs, Martin Guptill scored 28 runs, Chris Sole 14 runs, Dipak Bohara 9 and Pratis GC scored 6 runs. 

Lumbini's Durgesh Gupta took three wickets, Ramon Simmonds and Saad Bin Zafar took two wickets each and Bibek Yadav took a wicket but failed to stop the team's defeat.
