Janakpur beats Karnali by 8 wickets to register 2nd consecutive win in NPL

By Pramod Kumar Tandan, Kathmandu, Dec 2: In the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) Janakpur Bolts registered its second consecutive win after defeating Karnali Yaks by 8 wickets on Monday.

Bolts has achieved the target of 142 runs in just 15.1 overs in a loss of two wickets with 29 balls remaining.

To achieve 2nd win for his team Bolts's Captain Anil Sah hit a half-century and scored 62 runs. Similarly, Aasif Sheikh hit 36 runs, Lahiru Milantha scored 24  and James Neesham scored 16 runs.

Yaks bawlers Mousom Dhakal and Zeeshan Maqsood took one wicket each.

Earlier, batting first Yaks posted a target of 142 runs for Bolts.

In the NPL inauguration match on Saturday, Janakpur defeated Biratnagar by 8 wickets
