Karnali posts 142-run target for Janakpur in NPL

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 2: Karnali Yaks posted a target of 142-run against Janakpur Bolts in the second match of Monday at Kirtipur under Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Yaks's batsmen scored a total of 141 runs in the stipulated 20 overs with a loss of 7 wickets.

Yaks Gulsan Jha scored 36 runs, Arjun Gharti scored 33, Sompal Kami scored 29, Shikhar Dhawan scored 14, Babar Hayat scored 12 and Chadwick Walton scored 8 runs. Dev Khanal scored just one run and Zeeshan Maqsood remained unable to score a run. 

Bolts's bawlers Mohammad Mohsin took 2 wickets, and Lalit Rajbanshi, Harsh Thaker, James Neesham and Kishore Mahato took a single wicket each.

Earlier, after winning the toss Yaks chose to bat first.
