Mrs. Nepal contestants showcase special talents

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Oct. 8: The contestants of Mrs. Nepal World 2024 showcased their talents during the talent round of the beauty pageant for married women. 

The talent show took place at the Voice of Nepal studio in Kathmandu, where 29 contestants of Mrs. Nepal World 2024 displayed their talents, including dance, singing, speech, painting, yoga, acting and dress designing, among others.

Chairman of the organising organisation, Ribbon Entertainment, Nishu Kanta Jha, said that Mrs. Talent would be selected based on the talents showcased by the contestants during the talent round, and the winner would be announced on the finale.

The final competition is scheduled on October 26 at the Nepal Academy, Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

The panel of judges for the talent show included actor and theatre artist Birendra Hamal, actor and lawyer Krishna Dhungana, journalist and lyricist Dabbu Kshetri, dance director Jogendra KC, singer Jhuma Limbu, actress Sirjana Adhikari and music director Deepak Sharma. The competition will be choreographed by Ashwani Kant Jha.

Contestants like Pragati Shrestha, Jyoti Sharma, Sushila KC Dahal, Anu Karki, Kopila Gautam, Anita Mandal Lama Dong, Usha Kiran Adhikari, Sirjana Byanjankar, Ambika Gautam, Suyasha Raut, Sahara Timalsina Acharya, Binita Dhakal, Alina Ghimire, Nanu Singh, Pragati Amatya, Srijana Shrestha, Sangita Gautam, Deeptara Luitel, Kiran Karki, Beli Moktan, Denila Karki, Simran Karki, Sara Tamang, Maya Lama, Nirmala Karki, Reshma Ghimire, Neha Karn, Srishti Aryal, and Deepa Bishwakarma are participating in the competition. 

This year’s finalists range from homemakers to doctors, engineers, bankers, managers, businesswomen, healthcare workers, fashion designers, nurses and a woman who has survived cancer twice, informed the organiser. 

The winner of Mrs. Nepal World will have the opportunity to participate in the international competition, Mrs. World, held in the USA.

 Additionally, the winners of Mrs. Nepal International and MS International will also be selected and given the chance to participate in competitions in Singapore.
