Smartphone provided to traffic police for regulating digital license

 Kathmandu, Oct 5: The traffic police has been provided 104 sets of smart phones for regulating the digital driving license.

Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Transport, Devendra Dahal, and Minister of Labour, Employment and Transport at Bagmati Province, Prem Bhakta Maharjan, handed over the smart phones to Inspector General of Nepal Police, Basanta Kunwar, amidst a programme in federal ministry on Friday.

Minister Dahal viewed the assistance to traffic police was a reminder of direct cooperation between the Ministry and Nepal Police. Coordination with traffic police would be furthered to make effective the activities of traffic police.

Similarly, IGP Kunwar hoped the assistance would be very useful for traffic police to ensure convenient public service delivery.

The programme was also attended by ministry secretary, AIG, and IT expert at PM's Office, and chief of Valley Traffick Office, among others.  (RSS)
