districts across the country in the past 10 months since December last year.
Experts fear that the Dashain festival could be terrible if dengue
keeps spreading in the same pace and pattern.
According to the records of the Epidemiology and Disease Control
Division (EDCD), dengue has spread to all districts except for Humla and that
12,644 people have been infected with dengue and that six have died due to it.
Dr. Gokarna Dahal, chief of the Vector Borne Disease Control Section of
the EDCD, Kaski has the largest number of dengue patients followed by Tanahun, Kathmandu
and Parvat.
