Gold price up by 400 per tola to set new record

Kathmandu, Sept 23: The price of gold in the domestic market has soared today, too on the second day of the week, to set a new record.    


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, today the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 159,200 per tola (11.66 grams) against Rs 158,800 on Sunday. On Sunday, the rise was by Rs 1,700 per tola compared to Friday, the closing day of the week.    


However, the price of silver is unchanged today compared to Sunday. Its price has been determined at Rs 1,920 per tola today. (RSS)
