President in Public Places: President Paudel visits Bhaktapur, talks with locals

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug 30: President Ram Chandra Paudel today visited Bhaktapur Durbar Square on Friday on the first day of the programme "President in Public Places".

The President was received by members of parliament, the chief district officer, security chiefs, and the locals as he reached the Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

During his visits, President Paudel also talked with the locals.

On the occasion, the locals urged the President to play the role as the guardian to take the fruits of the republican setup to the common citizens. The locals also complained about price hikes and the lack of easy access to public services. In response, the President said he would draw the government's attention to the issues raised by the people.
