Death toll in Tanahun bus accident reaches 27

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug 23: The death toll in the Indian Bus accident in Tanahun has reached 27.

According to Armed Police Force (APF) Spokesperson Shailendra Thapa, so far, the death toll in the accident has reached 27.

Meanwhile, Aanbukhaireni Hospital Chief Dr DB Kshetri has confirmed the 24 death toll with the name list. 

As per the Dr Kshetri, 24 deceased were: 

1. Sulva Baramvey (60 Years/Female)

2. Bharti Jaudey (62 Years/Female)

3. Sarala Taide (62 Years/Female)

4. Co-driver (Unidentified - Male)

5. Anup Saraudey (22 Years/Male)

6. Bijaya Jaudey (65 Years/Female)

7. Sarala Raney (45 years/Female)

8. Pari Bhoramde (8 Years/Female)

9. Pankaj Bangale (45 Years/Female)

10. Sandi P Saraudey (45 Years/Male)

11. Nilima Dhandey (57 Years/Female)

12. Tulsiram Taidey (62 Years/Male)

13. Ganesh Borambey (40 Years/Male)

14. Palvi Saraudi (43 years/Female)

15. Dhandey (Full name unidentified- Female)

16. Anita Patil (Age-unidentified/Female)

17. Bijaya Jaudey (50 Years/Female)

18. Roheyni Jaudey (51 Years/Female)

19. Sulav Bharamvey (60 Years/Male)

20. Subash Radey (45 Years/Male)

21. Prakash Kodi (50 Years/Male)

22. Driver (Unidentified - Male)

A bus with Indian number UP 53 FT 7623 fell some about 150 meters down from the Prithvi Highway into Marsyangdi River on Friday morning.
