By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Aug. 8: Mr. Nepal contestants are currently undergoing training. Out of hundreds of applicants, 38 contestants have been selected for the male beauty pageant contest, informed the organiser Next Models Nepal.
The selected contestants are Bishesh Khadgi, Piyush Shrestha, Nawaraj Prasai, Ayush Dulal, Shrijal Shakya, Satyam Path, Sakkar Bajimaya from Kathmandu, Agraj Shrestha from Sunsari, Rahul Rawal from Kailali, Mani Niraula from Jhapa, Ayush Bamjom, and Umang Acharya from Hetauda, Yogesh Shrestha from Bhaktapur, MD. Adnan Halwai, Bishwo Baraili, and Satya Narayan Chaudhary from Nepalgunj, Dipesh Chaudhary from Dhangadhi, Ashok BK from Pokhara, Manoj Gurung from Lamjung, Sanyant Raj Ghimire from Lalitpur, Sagar Ghimire, Pintu Sanyal from Biratnagar, Sanjay Mandal from Janakpur, Saroj Tamang Moktan from Rasuwa, Sushant Kumar Das from Saptari, Prakash Chauhan from Morang, and others who were selected for the final competition.
During the training, contestants will hone their skills in more than a dozen subjects, including swimming, football, rock climbing, social service, short hiking, catwalk, personality development, and public speaking, said Ravi Dhungana, CEO of Next Models Nepal. Dhungana believes the competition is organised to select the best talents by providing participation opportunities to youths scattered across the country.
According to Yatna Pandey, Managing Director of Next Models Nepal, the top winner of the competition will not only represent Nepal in ‘Mr. World 2024’ or ‘Mr. Global 2024’ but will also win cash prizes and various gifts.
The competition, which aims to develop youths personalities, boost their confidence, and enhance their leadership skills, has been held regularly since 2001.
