Obstruction in Madhes province assembly removed

Janakpur, July 11: The ongoing obstruction in the Madhes Province Assembly has ended after Province Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh promised to carry out a high-level investigation into the weakness and shortcomings seen in the new fiscal year budget.     

At the beginning of today's Provincial Assembly meeting, Chief Whip of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Ram Ashish Yadav said they will not participate in the discussions in the budget as shortcomings in it have already been accepted.     

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Singh said that if there is any weakness in the budget a high-level investigation committee and would be formed taking into consideration the complaints about unbalanced budget allocation and appropritation.     

With the commitment of CM Singh, the ongoing disruption has been removed.(RSS)
