RSP demands to provide chemical fertilizers timely

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 13: The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has asked the government to provide chemical fertilizers to farmers on time.  

In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar has said that the government is assuring of having sufficient chemical fertilizers however the farmers are not even getting  10 kilograms of it. 

Saying that even though it is assured that there are sufficient fertilizers, the situation is quite contrasting as its scarcity has been observed in the market, he said that the government needs to provide fertilizers to farmers promptly. 

Pariyar has said, “The government said that there is no scarcity of fertilizers but the farmers of Bhaktapur do not get more than 10 kilograms of it. The land of Naya Thimi and Bode area of Bhaktapur is highly cultivable. On the one hand, the government assures of having enough fertilizers on the other hand, scarcity is observed in the market. Therefore, I want to draw special attention to this issue.”
