By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 8: The Kirant Rai communities celebrated the Ubhauli festival by worshipping Nature on Saturday.

The festival is celebrated every year on the full moon day of Baisakh Shukla Purnima. Before planting crops, there is a tradition of worshipping nature and wishing for good crops.

On the occasion, they perform the Sakela dance acting like farmers planting crops, harvesting and knitting, and bird dance.
