By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 24: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that the Nepal Police needs to fulfill responsibilities towards the state by performing their official duty efficiently.
Addressing the convocation ceremony of Police Inspector training 1-182th group, Nepal Police is successful and able to face each challenge that comes in the field of work.
PM Prachanda said, “I am confident that the skills gained through training will come into use to overcome obstacles that come in the way during crime control and investigation and derive result-oriented performance. I believe you will perform official responsibilities efficiently by remaining undeterred in the duties.”
Reminding that the Nepal Police is an institution established to maintain peace and order in society and protect human rights by effectively controlling and investigating crimes, PM Prachanda said that the role of training centers is prominent in producing skilled and professional police manpower that can face the challenges of the first century.
Mentioning that the new challenges are being added with the swift development in science and technology, the PM stressed that on the need to be committed to the concept of a lawful state that is responsible to citizens, sensitive to human rights, impartial, professional and legal.
