Two die after drowning in poultry litter in Dhankuta

By Kabi Raj Ghimire, Dhankuta, April 6: Two children were killed by drowning in poultry farm litter in Dhankuta.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Shyam Singh Chaudhary, Chief of District Police Office, Dhankuta, two children were killed at Patle, Dhankuta Municipality-10, by drowning in a swamp thrown by a poultry farm on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as 11-year-old Manish Khatiwada of Dhankuta Municipality-10 and 16-year-old Dipesh Khatiwada of ward number 9 of the same municipality.
Both of them died on the spot.
A detailed description of the incident is yet to be received.
