'Good-governance, prosperity and social justice mantra of govt.'

Gorkha, Feb 18 : Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that maintaining good governance, prosperity, and social justice is the mantra of the incumbent government.     

Addressing a programme organized on 56th anniversary of Jivan Jyoti Secondary School at Palungtar in Gorkha on Sunday, the Deputy Prime Minister said the development works cannot make a stride sans good governance.     

"Good governance is an inevitable precondition for making a stride in development endeavors," he argued.     

On the occasion, Shrestha admitted that the government has not been able to carry out development works as expected due to a lack of sufficient means and resources. (RSS)
