Corruption case filed against ward chair
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 7: A corruption case of Rs five lakh has been filed against Tara Bahadur Karki Chhetri, ward chair of Jeetpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City, Bara.
Narahari Ghimire, spokesperson of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), said that the money was emblazed from the service provider in the name of recommending a road alongside the home.
The corruption case was filed under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059 (2002 A.D) and has a five lakh bail money.
It has been mentioned in the letter made public by the CIAA that the corruption case was filed on Wednesday in the Special Court, Kathmandu.
