Nepal should be made hub for higher education: PM Prachanda

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 29: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that Nepal should be made a hub for higher education. 

Addressing the 9th assembly of the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, PM Prachanda said, “It is my clear accreditation that Nepal should be made a hub for higher education. This is not only our aspiration  but also a significant area of possibility.” 

He expressed delight over knowing that students from abroad have started coming to study at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS). 

Expressing confidence that KAHS will progress in the coming days, PM said that the hospital has been providing direct services to people from most backward areas and producing skilled manpower. 

He said, “Karnali Academy of Health Sciences is not just providing services to destitute people but also producing skilled, hardworking health workers.”


Mentioning that the hospital plays a significant role in giving service when the country and people are at difficult times, PM said, “Either it is during the COVID-19 pandemic, or at times of the destructive earthquake, this academy has done important work in full responsibility in line with pre-preparedness, needed alertness, rescue and treatment.”

Saying that the services delivered by the academy should be made simple, easy, and of quality, and stressed about producing health workers for a competitive society, nation and world that are qualified, honest, efficient, and filled with patriotism.
