By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 26: The international agriculture expo kicked off at Bhrikutimandap today.
Organizer's managing director Srijal Bhattrai said that more than 100 stalls of national and international companies are out for the exhibition.
Hosted by the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Programme, the expo has Muktinath Krishi Company as an agriculture partner and the Municipal Association of Nepal facilitating as an auxiliary institute. Federation of National Agriculture Group, National Farmers Group Federation, Agriculture Cooperative Central Federation Ltd. are also involved in the expo.
The tools used for poultry farming, fishery, cow farming, and dairy, have been arrayed in exhibition in addition to banana farming, drip irrigation, chemical fertilizer free agriculture components.
The agriculture experts of Nepal will organise seminars for farmers to get information related to agricultural technique, different segment of agriculture.
The expo will go on for three days without any entry fee.
