Afghanistan set 146 runs target for Nepal

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 26: Afghanistan have posted a target of 146 runs to Nepal in the Under-19 World Cup cricket match on Friday in East London.

Batting first Afghanistan scored a total of 145 runs before being all out in 40.1 overs.

Nepali bowler Aakash Chand took 5 wickets giving 34 runs in 8 overs spell. Similarly, Dipesh Kandel took 2 wickets whereas Gulsan Jha, Subash Bhandari and Tilak Bhandari took one wicket each.

From the Afghanistan side, AM Ghazanfar scored 37, Naseer Khan Maroofkhil 31, Faridoon Dawoodzai 29 and Hassan Eisakhil scored 20 runs. Similarly, Sohail Khan Zurmati and Jamshid Zadran scored 4 and 3 runs respectively.
