By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 25: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that all the bodies of the government and respective agencies must abide by the constitution and institutionalize the concept of federalism, democracy and republican set up.
In a discussion with officials of the Retired Judges' Association at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Thursday, the PM said that there is a role of retired judges to make people follow the constitution and law of the country saying that some people are relentlessly spreading rumours terming good things as bad and spoiling the harmony of the society.
Saying that retired judges have raised their voices whenever there has been an attack on the constitution and law in the past, the PM pointed out that the retired judges in the future also need to monitor if different bodies of the government and agencies are working under the constitution and law or not.
People in responsible positions in the country should not form an opinion based on the masses' opinions and social networks rather should decide by adhering to the law and constitution of the country.
