One dead, two injured in Pokhara Jeep accident

By Fadindra Adhikari, Lekhnath, Jan 24: One person died when a Jeep met with an accident near Chisakhola of Pokhara Metropolitan City - 18, in Kaski today morning.

A jeep with the registration number Ga 3 Cha 2603, coming towards Baglung Buspark from the Methalang veered off at around 9 AM where two others were injured.

Bolero Jeep fell some 20 feet down from the road killing Krishna Bahadur Thapa, 49, of Gyarjati of Pokhara -18.

Seriously injured Thapa was taken to the Manipal Teaching Hospital where he was declared dead.

Two injured are Himkala Thapa, 69 and Chandrakala Thapa, 70, of Gyarjati receiving treatment at the hospital.

Spokesperson of Kaski Police Office Shrwan Kumar BK informed that the injured were taken to the hospital after a rescue effort from the police team deployed from the ward police office.
