Karki appoints as ED of CIT
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 17: The government has decided to appoint Parbat Kumar Karki as the Executive Director of Citizen's Investment Trust (CIT) today.
Minister of Communication and Informaton Technology Rekha Sharma informed that the cabinet meeting held today has decided to appoint Parbat Kumar Karki as Executive Director of CIT whose tenure will remain for 4 years.
The post was vacant after the completion of the tenure of Raman Nepal.
According to Deputy Director of CIT Narayan Prasad Ghimire, there are 7 lakhs depositors and Rs 250 billion cash deposited. In this trust, government officials and other such agencies are the main depositors.
