Another Nepali youth dies in Russia-Ukraine war

Pyuthan, Jan 11: A youth from Pyuthan district, who was serving the Russian Army, died in Russia-Ukraine war.     

Sonu Sunar of Kathebar of Pyuthan Municipality-4 died in the war, Sunar's friend informed the family back home.     

Sonu, who was working in Qatar for two years, had left for Russia some months ago.     

According to Khageshwor Thapa, a neighbour of deceased Sunar, another Nepali youth has sustained injuries in the war. The injured Nepali youth informed Sunar's family about the latter's passing away in Russia.     

The Mayor of Pyuthan Municipality, Bishnu Yogi, said that the folks in Pyuthan are saddened by the news of demise of Sunar and added that the Sunar family would be informed further on Friday.     

Neighbour Thapa said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also informed about the incident. (RSS)
