GC advisor duo assume office

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 3: Advisor duo for the Gorkhapatra Corporation, Ram Krishna Adhikary and Sushila Chaudhary, assumed their office today.

Corporation's Executive Chairman, General Manager along with the management team welcomed the advisor duo in the central office of the Corporation in New Road.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 21 December decided to appoint journalist Adhikari and lawyer Chaudhary as the advisors of the corporation.

Adhikari has been designated as the management, financial and printing advisor of Gorkhapatra Corporation while Chaudhari has been designated as the legal advisor. 

Advisor Adhikari, a resident of Suryagadhi Rural Municipality -2 of Nuwakot, has been involved actively in the field of journalism for over two decades. He obtained a master's degree in journalism and Mass Communication.

Born in Ghorahi sub-metropolitan City-17 in Dang district, Chaudhari has been involved in the law profession as a lawyer.

With a master's degree in political science, Chaudhari has also attained an LLB degree.

On the occasion of welcoming the advisors, the Executive Chairman of the Corporation, Bishnu Prasad Subedi, said that Nepal's oldest newspaper, Gorkhapatra, is the pride of Nepal and Nepali, so it is the responsibility to do a proud job accordingly. "Now, coincidently, all the team members are young so it is necessary to look young at work too."

General Manager Lal Bahadur Airi expressed his belief that the arrival of the two advisors will help in work.
