Democratic fighter Mishra dies

Mahottari, Jan 2: A democratic fighter Tripurari Mishra has died at the age of 54. Mishra, a resident of Pipara rural municipality-3 in the district died on Monday night.    
    
Mishra was suffering from hypertension and diabetes for long.    
    
Nepali Congress leader in Mahottari, Bajrang Nepali, informed that Mishra had contributed to democratic movement in the country by being affiliated to Nepal Students Union since panchayat time.    
    
He was active in Nepali Congress politics following the restoration of democracy in 2046BS.    
    
District presidents of the Nepali Congress, Nageshwor Yadav, and of CPN UML, Kalichandra Sah, expressed grief over Mishra's demise.    
    
Mishra is lived by spouse, a son and a daughter. (RSS)
