Unity in diversity our unique identity: Vice President Yadav

Kathmandu, Dec 26: Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav has said unity in diversity is a unique identity of Nepali people. Nepal is rich in language, culture and religion.    
    

Giving messages of best wishes on the occasion of Udhauli festival observed by the Kirat community and Yomari Punhi by the Newar community today, Vice President Yadav said such festivals help foster further unity, integrity, coexistence, religious and social tolerance and fraternity.    
    
"I believe the festivals- one observed by the Kirat community and another by Newar community- will spread the message of unity in diversity and bind Nepali society in a thread of unity," he stated in the message.  Even the Jyapu Day is observed today.   (RSS)
