Hearing on Ncell share sale case underway

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 19: Hearing on a writ petition filed against the case of Ncell share transaction is underway.

A single bench of Judge of the Supreme Court Prakash Man Singh has started hearing on the Ncell share sale case.

Dr Amresh Kumar Singh, a member of the House of Representatives (HoR), had filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding that the purchase and sale of Ncell shares not be recognized.

MP Singh mentioned in the writ petition that Ncell’s shares were bought and sold in a non-transparent manner by disregarding the legal process of Nepal and causing harm to the country.

Even though the hearing date was fixed earlier it was put on the “ No time to see it"’ list.
