Senior leaders of three parties discuss Ncell

Kathmandu, Dec 6: Senior leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN (Unified Socialist) met today to discuss the recent sale of shares of Ncell, a private telecom service provider.     

Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal met at the Prime Minister's Official Residence in Baluwatar to discuss the issue, which has courted a lot of controversy in the recent few days.     

Earlier, the senior leaders of the coalition parties had discussed the matter and agreed to investigate Ncell's purchase and sale.     

Also today, two parliamentary committees discussed about the matter. The House of Representatives Public Accounts Committee and the Finance Committee discussed the matter and issued directives to the government. (RSS)
