Rangeli’s red carpet premieres to be held in US cities

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Oct. 30:The distribution rights of ‘Rangeli’, which is currently in its final stages of shooting, have been sold for America.

 Ekkabassa Entertainment and Live at Present have acquired the distribution rights for the American market. 

Director Arjun Subedi informed that along with selling distribution rights, VIP red carpet premieres will also be held in American cities including San Francisco, California, Dallas and Texas. He added that the leading actors of the film will attend the premieres.

Ujjwal Guragain and UNA Entertainment have already acquired the distribution rights for the film in Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. The film’s rights have already been sold in Australia.  

The film unit is also gearing up for a grand premiere in Melbourne, Australia, scheduled for the first week of February.

The film is set for a global release on March 8, coinciding with the auspicious day of Mahashivratri.

Producer Jeetendra Khatiwada informed that they are in the process of finalising agreements with distributors in various other countries for the same release date.

Written and directed by Arjun Subedi, the film features artistes including Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Arpan Thapa, Prabin Khatiwada and Ramesh Budhathoki. The film's shooting briefly interrupted during the Dashain festival is currently in its final stage.

The songs of this film have lyrics by Harak Saud and music by Sushant Gautam and Hercules Basnet.

 The executive producers of the movie are Jeetendra Khatiwada and Anoj Jung Thapa. 

Sushan Prajapati has directed the cinematography of the film.
