One arrested for Rs 26 million embezzlement

By Amar Raj Naharki, Tanahun, Sept.29: Managing Director of the Bhanumati Small Famer Agriculture Cooperatives Limited at Sakhep, Bhimad Municipality-9, Tanahun, has been arrested for embezzlement.
52-year-old Chutra Bahadur Thapa from Katanchap, Bhimad Municipality-9, Tanahun, is facing accusations of emblazing Rs 26,971,966 by taking money out of different share income, and savings, taking out fake loans in the name of 130 members having a share in cooperatives.
Thapa has been arrested following the complaint filed against him. Further investigation is underway by adding seven more days by the Tanahun District Court.
