Kathmandu, July 5: The meeting of the National Assembly, obstructed by the lawmakers of the opposition parties, has been postponed till Thursday.
Soon after the beginning of the meeting at 2:31 pm, CPN UML lawmakers obstructed the meeting objecting to the recent statement of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'. Following the obstruction of the UML lawmakers, the meeting was postponed till 3:01 pm. The Federal Parliament Secretariat issued a notice in order to hold the meeting again at 4:46 pm after the meeting scheduled for 3:01 pm could not take place.
NA Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina postponed the meeting till 1:01 pm on Thursday after the meeting could not take place at a determined time, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat. (RSS)
