Koshi CM Karki fails to get vote of confidence

By Gokul Parajuli, Biratnagar, June 30: Chief Minister of Koshi Province Hikmat Bahadur Karki failed to gain the vote of Confidence.
In a vote of confidence motion tabled in a meeting of the Koshi Province Assembly on Friday, Chief Minister Karki's motion was rejected. He received 46 votes.
A total of 47 votes was needed to continue the government. 43 votes were cast against him. Four Provincial Assembly Members were absent from the voting.
