The Siddhartha Vilasa Hotel, constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.5 billion, has come into operation. This is the third five-star hotel in Rupandehi. Earlier, the Tiger Party Palace and the Pawan International were operating as five-star hotels.

Siddhartha Business Group started its commercial journey 25 years ago by running a simple snack shop in Kailali. A five-star hotel has been constructed in Mayadevi Rural Municipality-8.

The hotel which is spread over an area of four bighas of land has 85 rooms classified in four levels namely Deluxe, Executive Suite, Suite and President Suite.

According to Chief Executive Officer of the Group Krishna Prasad Neupane, the hotel has a lobby lounge, all-day dining, rooftop restaurant and swimming pool, fitness, spa, sauna, health club services with Jacuzzi, garden, large and small meeting halls, three conference halls and a casino. He said that more than 300 people will get employment after the full operation of the hotel.

Initially, it was estimated that it could be built within two years and cost around Rs. 1 billion. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it did not work as planned.

Neupane said that the cost increased due to the delay, increase in the price of construction materials and the addition of infrastructure.

President of the Group Chintamani (Laxman) Neupane said that the operations from five-star to luxury resorts have been started in Sauraha in Chitwan, Lamahi in Dang and Biratnagar under the name of Siddhartha Hotel and Resort.

He said that Bhairahawa's deluxe five-star hotel is a 'dream project' of the group. He said that a four-star hotel has also been brought into operation in Lamahi of Dang.

The group has its own investment in a five-star hotel in Bhairahawa. After the addition of four hotels and resorts, the number of hotels, resorts and cafes of the Siddhartha Group will reach 30.

The group has operated a five-star hotel for the first time in its 25-year professional journey in the hospitality sector. Three-star and four-star hotels targeting foreign tourists are already operating. Along with hospitality, the Group is also investing in various services and product sectors.
