Govt. announces public holiday on Thursday for Bakar Eid
Kathmandu, June 27: The government has decided to observe a public holiday on June 29 the occasion of the Bakar Eid, also known as Eid al-Adha.
Issuing a notice today, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced a public holiday on coming Thursday on the occasion of the Eid festival of the Muslim community.
As the Ministry Spokesperson Kedarnath Sharma said, the decision to give a public holiday on Bakar Eid was taken as per the notice issued in the Nepal Gazette on March 16.(RSS)
