Public holiday on Bakra-Eid

Kathmandu, June 27: The government has declared a public holiday on the
occasion of Bakra- Eid on Thursday.
Issuing a notice today, the Ministry of Home Affairs
said that the government has decided to declare the day a public holiday on Bakra-Eid
also known as Eid-al-Adha. Bakra –Eid this year falls on July 29.
Muslims observe the festivity with great fervor as
it is one of the biggest festivals in the community.
