By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 27: The Nepal Police has arrested five people including the proprietor of the Bhat-Bhateni franchise, Meen Bahadur Gurung, in connection to the Lalita Niwas land garb case on Tuesday.
According to the Spokesperson of the Nepal Police, Deputy Inspector
General(DIG) Kuber Kadayat, five people including the supermarket owner Gurung have
been arrested in the Lalita Niwas case.
The other four arrested are the then-head of the Land Revenue Office,
Dillibazar, Kaladhar Deuja, employees Surendra Man Kapali, Dharma Prasad Gautam,
and Bhupendra Mani KC. They are being detained for further
investigation, informed DIG Kuber Kadayat to The Rising Nepal Online.
They were arrested by a team of the Central Bureau of
Investigation (CIB) of Nepal Police on Tuesday.
