Minister Singh airlifted to Nepalgunj for further treatment

By Sailendra Kumar Rokaya, Bajhang, June 20: Three people, including Internal Affairs and Law Minister of Sudurpashchim Province Prithvi Bahadur Singh, who sustained an injury in the Bajhang jeep accident, have been sent to Nepalgunj for further treatment.

According to the Assistant Chief District Officer of Bajhang Satya Kumar Joshi, the three injured were airlifted to Nepalgunj for further treatment. Minister Singh, driver Dharma Raj Joshi, and Minister's PSO Police Assistant Constable Deepak Bhandari were sent to Nepalgunj for further treatment.

Meanwhile, Minister Singh’s wife Amrita Devi, and sister-in-law Jaya Laxmi are receiving treatment in the local hospital. Both are said to be in critical health condition.

The jeep with the registration number Su.Pa. Pra. 01001 Jha 480 met with an accident on Tuesday afternoon. The jeep carrying the minister fell some 50 meters down to the Kalanga river bank from the road at the Kedarsyun Rural Municipality's Dharchhada. The vehicle was heading towards Chainpur from Dadeldhura.
