Tiwari appointed GC board member

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 31: The government has appointed Nandalal Tiwari, sub-editor of The Rising Nepal, to the board of directors of the Gorkhapatra Corporation. 

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT) appointed him as a member of the board of directors for four years term on Wednesday. 

Surendra Thapa, under Secretary at MoCIT, said that a minister-level decision of the Government of Nepal appointed Tiwari as a BOD member. 

Tiwari, a permanent resident of Sirsekot-7, Syangja, has been working in journalism at The Rising Nepal for the past 16 years. He is currently working as a coordinator of risingnepal.com.

Journalist Tiwari, holds two masters degree, one in English Literature from Tribhuvan University and the other in Global Economy from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China.
