President Paudel authenticates citizenship bill

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 31: President Ram Chandra Paudel has authenticated the citizenship bill.
President Office's spokesperson Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai has said that President Paudel authenticated the citizenship bill on Wednesday.
The bill was approved by the previous federal parliament.
Earlier, former president Bidhya Devi Bhandari refused to pass the citizenship bill by putting it on hold after the federal parliament approved and sent it to her twice.
